Caterina Vitt

The “80s Dancing Showgirl of Australian Burlesque”, Caterina Vitt ceaselessly seduces show goers with her high kick antics and witty ways.  A show pony at heart and a bit of a tart, she is the tenacious bombshell who has danced around the globe. 

At the tender age of three, Caterina embarked on her dancing journey and has only ever looked back for the occasional delectable derrière of passers by.

Up until 2010, Caterina Vitt had focused her energy on dance, choreography and teaching as well as living in India performing in the Bollywood films. 

Caterina Vitt was introduced onto the burlesque scene in 2011, debuting her first solo act at Sydney’s number one burlesque show THE PEEL. The same year Caterina also featured at the EP launch of Lani the Procrastinator and danced at corporate functions in NSW.

 

Caterina went on to perform at Red Light Confidential (Sydney), Dr Sketchy’s (Sydney, Mr Falcon’s (Sydney), Cherry Poppers (Melbourne) and danced at The Australian Museum for Jurassic lounge (Sydney).  Relocating to Melbourne in late April 2013, Caterina was featured in a weekly Burlesque show at LaDiDa as well as fan dancing at Honey Birdette in the CBD.

In June 2013, Caterina was featured in the “Australian Burlesque Festival” Baby Bombshells.  Caterina danced for charity at the “Great Gatsby” ball for the White Ribbon Foundation and “The Burlesque Ball for Women’s Refuge. In December 2013 she performed in the Melbourne based show Grace of Spades Burlesque at Cherry Bar.

Caterina was a Resident Showgirl at Salon Boudoir, hosted by Dolores Daiquiri. Producing her first show during 2013, “Bastille Burlesque” at Cassagrain Wines as well as putting together “Festive Follies” in her hometown of Port Macquarie alongside Dolores Daiquiri, she held workshops and choreographed group and duo acts at La Vive Classique Academy of Dance for their local eisteddfods. Caterina has also featured in “Early Burly” at The Butterfly Club on numerous occasions. 

 

Miss Vitt is producing the international tour “The Aussie Flim Flam Japanese Burlesque Revue”. She is taking a group of fellow performers are heading to Tokyo in November 2015 for a whirlwind tour.

３歳の時にダンスに目覚め、２０１０年までインド映画の振り付けや講師としてダンス業に専念。

２０１１年にバーレスクと出会い、シドニー１のバーレスクショー「THE PEEL」にてバーレスクデビュー。

その後、オーストラリアバーレスク界で有数のイベントに数多く出演し、２０１３年６月にオーストラリアのバーレスクフェスにて「the “Australian Burlesque Festival” Baby Bombshells」として注目される。

ホワイトリボン基金等のためのボランティアパフォーマンスも積極的に行っている。

２０１３年にはレジデンスショーガールとして勤めていたショーの主催者の協力のもと、故郷であるポートマッコーリーにて、初めてのショープロデュースとなる「Bastille Burlesque」を「Festive Follies」とともに開催。

 

La Vive Classique Academy of Danceでグループの振り付けとデュオパフォーマンスのワークショップを行うなど後続の指導にもあたっている。

 

「The Aussie Flim Flam Japanese Burlesque Revue」の主宰として、パフォーマー仲間とともに東京にオージーバーレスク旋風を巻き起こすべく２０１５年１１月に来日する。
